Warm, waterproof & built for ice

Rated to –30°C and built with 3M Thinsulate™ 200g insulation and a Berber fleece lining, the Windsor keeps you warm well beyond anything an Australian resort — or a northern hemisphere trip — will throw at you. The waterproof PU-Nubuck upper handles slush, snow and rain without missing a beat. And the OC Rotor Sole™ takes it a step further with a retractable spike in the heel that deploys on ice and hard-packed snow, giving you grip exactly when you need it.

Looks like a fashion boot. Performs like a snow boot.

The Windsor's secret is that it doesn't look like a snow boot. The sleek nubuck exterior passes as everyday footwear — wear them to dinner, on the plane, walking the village. But underneath, it's fully equipped for cold, wet and icy conditions. That means you can leave the dedicated snow boots at home and pack one pair of boots for your entire trip. Less luggage, less hassle, no compromises.

Ideal for
  • Après ski and resort village life

  • Travel days to and from the mountain
  • Ski trips to Thredbo, Perisher, Falls Creek and Mt Buller
  • Overseas adventures to Japan, Canada, the US and the European Alps
  • Anyone who wants one versatile boot that does it all

FAQs

What makes Navatex boots different from other winter boots?

Most après and winter boots ask you to choose between style and function. The Windsor doesn't. The PU-Nubuck exterior looks like a fashion boot, while inside you get 3M Thinsulate™ 200g insulation, Berber fleece lining, full waterproofing rated to –30°C, and the OC Rotor Sole™ with a retractable ice spike in the heel. There's nothing else on the Australian market doing all of that in one boot.

How does the OC System® spike work?

The OC Rotor Sole™ features a retractable spike built into the heel. On hard-packed snow or ice — icy car parks, groomed village paths, the walk from your lodge to the lift — you deploy the spike for extra grip. On regular surfaces it retracts flush with the sole, so it doesn't affect your gait or scratch indoor floors. It's a clever, practical solution to a problem every skier and snowboarder knows well.

How warm are Navatex boots?

Navatex boots are rated to –30°C thanks to 3M Thinsulate™ 200g insulation and a Berber fleece lining. Australian resorts typically sit around –5 to –10°C on cold days, so there's a significant buffer built in. It also makes them an excellent choice for ski trips to Japan, Canada or the European Alps where temperatures can get genuinely serious.

Do they fit true to size?

Yes — Navatex boots fit true to size. They also feature a wide toe box, which gives your toes room to move and, importantly, stay warm (compressed toes lose heat fast). If you're right on the border between two sizes, we'd suggest sizing down.

How quickly do you ship?

Orders are typically dispatched the next business day from our warehouse in NSW.

What if the size isn't right?

We offer easy exchanges on unworn items if returned within 14 days of delivery. Learn more about exchanges here.
