Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Snow & Hike website or placing an order. By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

Orders & Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Snow & Hike reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a product listed at an incorrect price, whether due to a typographical error or incorrect information received from our suppliers — regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and your payment processed. If your order is cancelled after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued promptly.

Shipping & Delivery

We offer free standard shipping Australia-wide on all orders over $100. Orders under $100 are subject to a standard shipping fee. Express post is available on most orders, however please note that batteries cannot be sent via express post to QLD, WA, NT, SA or TAS due to carrier restrictions on lithium battery shipments.

Delivery timeframes may vary depending on your location and carrier availability. Snow & Hike dispatches most orders the next business day from our warehouse in NSW.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned in their original, unworn, unused and re-sellable condition with all product tags attached
  • An approved return authorisation form must be included with your return, clearly stating your name, address and whether you are requesting a refund or exchange. 
  • Items received damaged, marked, stained or torn may not be accepted for return unless they are faulty
  • If the reason for the return is not the result of a Snow & Hike shipment error, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • Returns can be sent via Australia Post or an alternative courier of your choice

If you have experienced a shipment error — wrong item, missing item or damaged goods — please contact us at info@snowandhike.com.au and we will resolve it as quickly as possible.

Warranty

All new products sold by Snow & Hike are covered by the relevant manufacturer's warranty. The following manufacturers provide a 1-year warranty on all new products purchased through Snow & Hike:

  • Lenz — 1 year manufacturer's warranty
  • Attiba — 1 year manufacturer's warranty
  • Starling Hats — 1 year manufacturer's warranty
  • Navatex — 1 year manufacturer's warranty

Warranty coverage applies to manufacturing defects and faults under normal use. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accident, wear and tear, or failure to follow care instructions. All warranty decisions are made by the manufacturer. If warranty information is not specified for a product, please contact our customer service team and we will assist you.

Snow & Hike has no control over manufacturer warranty or repair timeframes. In cases where goods have been returned directly to a manufacturer, Snow & Hike cannot be held responsible for any communication or outcomes from that manufacturer.

Disclaimer

By using the Snow & Hike website you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. Snow & Hike makes no warranty, guarantee or representation regarding the accuracy, reliability or timeliness of any information contained on our website. We do not guarantee that the website will be secure, error-free or virus-free. Any material downloaded through the use of our website is done at your own risk, and you are entirely responsible for any damage to your computer systems or loss of data that may result. Snow & Hike cannot be held liable for any loss, damage or claims arising from you or a third party acting on material appearing on this website.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
